Hrafntinna’s filly is now Fjóla which means violet.
Vinka’s colt was named Baldur, which means brave and courageous. It is also the name of one the Norse gods: “Óðinn’s second son is Baldur, and only good can be said of him. He is the best and everyone praises him.. . .”
Tindra’s colt we are calling Gammur, which is the name for a bird but also refers to someone active and efficient.
And Tvista’s colt goes by the name of Alsvinnur, which means very strong and wise. Alsvinnur and Árvakur are the names of the horses which draw the sun.
