For those of you who keep an eye on our sales horses:

Skuggi has gone to his new home in Alberta and Cara Moser reports almost regularly about the wonderful riding time she is having.

Congratulations to Yolanda and Frank van Keeken on the purchase of Kiljan fra Clear Lake, the winner of the Young Horse Evaluation 2007. Kiljan left the farm last week together with his new buddy Naskur fra Clear Lake Farm, a 2 year old gelding which Yolanda and Frank already bought as a foal. Both horses are offspring by Logi fra Skardi and have great talents to become superb riding / competition horses. Enjoy!

With a heavy heart I have added my fun horse Ljuf to the sales list. I hope to find a great home for her as she is very dear to me. She has been so easy to train, is very reliable, easy going and super safe out and about being ridden alone – maybe a once in a lifetime kind of horse.

Further news:

Dagfari will leave the farm by the end of the month, starting his journey to Australia. He will have to spend three weeks in quarantine in LA before he boards the plane. We are excited and hope the trip will go well.

The four young horses that have started their training in July are progressing well. Right from the beginning of training under saddle the two Nattfari from Wiesenhof offspring, Randver (for sale) and Miska (owned by Judy Petursson) are offering lots of tolt. Skolli by Jonas vom Sandloh out of Haganina (for sale) always shows us some steps of tolt in transitions. Glofaxi by Jonas out of Elja (for sale) is progressing well in his training too. We are excited to see them maturing into nice riding horses. Anyone interested in getting a well-started, talented and beautiful youngster should come and try these guys in a couple of weeks. I am sure it will not be easy to make up your mind!
