We are happy to share the good news that Dagfari has arrived well and is now with his new owner Nele. The following is a little article she recently put together:

After six weeks in quarantine Dagfari arrived at Litli Stadur Icelandic Horses in Camperdown, VIC, Australia (http://nelekoemle.ne.funpic.de/) at the end of October. He has settled in really quickly and is enjoying his big paddock. I have taken him to a couple of events since he arrived. One was an open day at Haldane Icelandic Horses and this weekend we had a stall at the Noorat Agricultural Show. We also did a short presentation of tolt to show people what an Icelandic Horse is all about. There are a lot of people interested in the breed once they know that they exist.

Everybody is amazed how relaxed and well tempered Dagfari is. Also his impressive looks, his huge mane and tail, attracted a lot of attention. All that is really great to promote the breed in Australia. I will try to take him to a few more shows so that people get to know the breed next year. In December I will put him in the paddock with my two mares and hope for two lovely babies next year.
In my spare time I enjoy taking him out for a trail ride or do some training in the arena.
