On June 20 – 21, 2009 we will host a special event: An Introduction Weekend for people interested in learning about and riding Icelandic Horses
Arrival: evening of June 19 – Departure: June 21
This customized weekend limited to a maximum of 8 people is geared towards people wanting to learn about Icelandic Horses and how to ride them. The seminar will start with a general introduction about the breed and the special gait tölt Saturday morning. Focus will be on explaining the tölt and how to ride it. Theory will be accompanied by demonstrations. Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning will be filled with riding the Icelandic Horse! Additional riding might be scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Fee for the weekend: $145, accommodation on site with catered meals possible – please inquire!
